In Grand Celebration of Back-To-School…Yummy Chocolate Chip Ideas!

As I have mentioned in some of the posts on my blog, summer shall soon be behind us for another year, and for those of you who are living in Dover, Delaware or even Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, your kids have already gone back to hitting the books, while some states don’t even start their school year until Thursday, I think…
One of the most favorite snacks to enjoy after school is the chocolate chip cookie; After all, if it were not for a certain woman by the name of Ruth Graves Wakefield, we would not have that snack today…She invented the time-honored treat while she was at a restaurant called the Toll House Inn-In place of nuts in which she completely ran out of, Ruth chopped up bits from a Nestle semi-sweet chocolate bar and put them into a cookie. She had been expecting that the chocolate chunks would melt, resulting into chocolate cookies, but those chunks did not melt, and thus, the cookies were born, and the rest, as they say, was the history of yummy deliciousness…
The chocolate chip cookie has since become the inspiration for many flavors for ice cream and other foods, and it has certainly inspired a number of desserts, some of which can be found in that certain website, Pinterest; Yours truly has personally selected some of those chocolate chip cookie desserts for you to try out and to serve to your own kids once they get out of school…
