Building a Picture-Perfect Post…

6-1/2 years is the amount of time for a blogger such as myself to provide something that would make readers happy as well as getting them excited about what I would give to them next; That kind of excitement comes in the form of the many blog posts that I write and publish almost everyday at KALEIDOSCOPE for the past length of time in which I have just mentioned…

Of course, in order for a blog post to become nothing more than a special treat, then you’ve got to have an image to accompany it, as in, a photo to complete the words that I write. And yes, you know what they say: a picture is worth a thousand words, and believe me, each and every image that I download and then retouch and then accompany my blog happens to be worth as much words as any one would know.

But how does one make a downloaded image so very special enough to be attached to a blog post? Well, I would very much like to give you a little behind-the-scenes tour of how I would redo a downloaded image, or in fact any picture that I take, so that it would be perfect enough for my posts…

Here is a picture of a rose that I downloaded; Looks beautiful, doesn’t it? But watch what happens when I take that rose to that certain photo app called Pixlr…
I redo that rose using the dapple effect that’s found in the Pixlr app…
And then, I would use the Amber effect to make that certain rose special.
And finally, I complete the redoing of the rose image by using a frame effect for my image, in this case the smoke theme…

And so, there you have it: a most exciting image that has been redone by yours truly using that wonderful app called Pixlr; If you folks would like to do something special with your very own photos, then maybe you should very well try the Pixlr app, in which you can find it at the Google Play Store.

Well, my friends, in two weeks time, I shall close the book on my blogging career and would then move on to other places in which I could express myself, all while keeping my food service work. When that happens, then I shall be seeking other areas to share any downloaded images that I would redo, just as I have done throughout the past 6-1/2 years that I have been blogging with you. I know that there are most of you bloggers and blog followers out there who are going to miss the fact of seeing such images that have accompanied the posts that I have published, but I would very much like for you to take heart: I plan on doing such things like that again, but in other parts of the internet that are much different than this here very blog in which you are reading right now, as you have always been for the past 6-1/2 years.

I have had the most wonderful time of sharing re-touched downloaded images with you, and I am thinking that you folks just might see such things like that again in the future, but in other times and in other places…
