The Games That I Play With You…

GAMES.jpg

In the six and a half years that I had been blogging with WordPress, one of my most favorite features that I have always enjoyed doing is playing the fun games with you, and that is in the form of puzzles in which I try to stump you while figuring out the solution!

One game that I like to do is called Who/What Am I?, and the object of this puzzle feature is this: I show you a photo of someone or something, but there happens to be a difference: that object or person has been covered up, and the only way to unmask this person/thing’s true identity is to try to guess who that person/thing is by using the clues that I have provided for them, and afterward, well, they just have to guess!

Now, two days later, the readers would have given up on the puzzle, and then, I would FINALLY give them the answer! And then, well, they would wait around for the next puzzle to come along…

I have enjoyed doing such a pretty cool thing as doing guessing game puzzles with you all, and I am pretty much sure that all of you have enjoyed solving those puzzles that I have brought to you at this here blog throughout the past 6-½ years. But now, on June 14th, there would not ever be any more puzzles; As for what my future would hold as both a writer and a food service worker, well, that happens to be a puzzle within itself.

Life can be a game sometimes when it comes to any obstacle we face in life; But if we try to escape our problems for a little while by playing such games as puzzles, then maybe, just maybe, we can face this tough world in life with as much courage and muster as we can.

6-1/2 Years, By the Numbers…

Throughout the 6 ½ years that I have been blogging with WordPress, I have done a pretty good job of making readers so very happy; But it is not just the words that they read that would get people like you so very interested in your posts in which makes them look forward to seeing more of what you have wrote…Actually, it’s the numbers that matter that state how much people have enjoyed my posts throughout the past six-and-a-half years…
In all of those years, in total, I have had a grand total of 38,257 views, 22,903 visitors, 6,938 likes…and I have 19 comments (yeah, I know, it is not a very big number, but at least it’s special). All in all, it all adds up for the fact that I have made something special in terms of posts that I had done for this here WordPress-hosted blog, KALEIDOSCOPE.
But I think that the most popular year that I had for my blog happens to be 2017; That year was a real blast for me and this here blog, because of 8,540 views for my blog, as well as 5,252 visitors. I guess that part of the reason that my blog had been moderately successful that year was that it had to with my parodies of a certain so-called Time Lord/British martian, Doctor Woo-Woo-Woo-Woo (I’m sorry, but I STILL cannot say this character’s name!). The reason why I had been making fun of this coo-coo from the B.B. & C. is that I had been using this act of parody to secretly try to get my cousins off that weirdo show about that weirdo Brit who pretends to be an alien who flies around in that blue elevator, in which happens to be something that those British cops may still be wanting to get that trademark of it back…

Oh, and there happens to be another reason why I had been doing those parodies that year: On the Saturday before Easter Sunday of 2017, I nearly lost my appetite for that candy that I had been enjoying when my cousin blurted out his love affair for that show that is from British and is not American, while saying that he could not wait for that 10th season of something of…that show. And so, I had been using those parodies of that show, as a way of doing something for the common good, as in, trying to secretly get my cousins to try and to watch something else other than that nutsy-banana-coo-coo program, something sensible like Lawrence Welk, or even Ozzie and Harriet. Well, as of this writing, my cousins are still stuck on that show, but that Docky-Wocky is gone for another year; But once that she of a martian comes back in the next year, I would once again try to make things somewhat miserable, parody-wise, but in a different place than this blog…
Other than that, 2017 was a fun year for me and my blog, but I think that other years are just as good; And now, it shall soon be time to put on my dancing shoes and have my final dance before closing down my blog. When it comes to all of the love that you have shown for me for the past 6 ½ years, on a scale of 1 to 10…You are a 12!

📸♥️🌹AND NOW, THE FINAL PHOTO OF THE DAY, BY JENN W…🌹♥️📸

One Sunday morning, just before I was to enter inside church, I took this photo of a blooming magnolia; the blooming of this flower represents something in which I am happy to share with you throughout the past 6-1/2 years that I have been blogging with you, and that has now come to an end: The sharing of each and every photograph that I had taken. I am so very happy to have shared something like this with you all this time…

Meanwhile, this blooming magnolia, which has long been a symbol of the first state called Delaware, also represents the fact that there are going to be a whole new world of opportunities related to writing that are just waiting for me to explore; So with that, as one door is about to close on June 14th, another door is going to be wide open for me as well as, I hope, a bright future ahead of me.

Once again, I have enjoyed sharing my Photos-of-The-Day with all of you for the past 6-1/2 years. And now, there happens to be one more picture that I would very much like to see, and that happens to be a happy and blessed future just simply waiting for me…

AND NOW, A VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER…

20190531_181917.jpg

As most of you readers have already known, June 14th is the day in which I shall write my final post and leave WordPress after 6 ½ years; Now, here is this very important message about what shall happen to this blog:
I plan on taking down everything on this blog, as in, stripping down every image, blog post, background art, etc., on June 30th, 2019, and then I shall sign out of my WordPress account while removing everything forever.
To those of you who have been followers of my blog throughout the past six-and-a-half years, beginning with its launch in 2012, I strongly suggest that you please unfollow my blog the week before the date of June 30th so that I could get started on removing posts, its accompanying photos, sharing buttons, etc. And that happens to go for new followers as well: Please unfollow my blog on the week before June 30th, 2019.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your understanding in this matter as I prepare to say goodbye to blogging.
